Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year!

On behalf of the Annville Elementary faculty and staff I would like to welcome everyone back for the 2015-2016 school year.  A special welcome to our new students and their families!  I'm confident you will find our school to be a welcoming and supportive educational environment for your child(ren).

Over the summer our building has undergone some face lifts.  New playground equipment, courtesy of our PTO and the generous donations of our families and friends, has been installed on the south playground.  Also, new carpet and tile has been added to our foyer which gives guests entering the building a sense of school spirit and cleanliness.
Academically, twenty minutes has been added to our instructional day and new arrival and dismissal times (8:50 AM-3:15 PM) have been communicated to students and families.  This added time will be used to strengthen our math instruction as we attempt to dig more deeply into application of math skills and problem solving.
We want to welcome our new secretaries to the office, Mrs. Staci Wenger (secretary to the principal) and Mrs. Jodie
Snover (attendance secretary).  Please introduce yourself to these ladies as I'm sure they are eager to assist you in any way they can.
Moving forward and beginning this school year, we will be requiring ID for car rider pick-up.  A note to the office is required for car rider pick-up.  In the note please identify the name of the individual who will picking up your child.  These students will need to be met at the northeast exit of the building.

In order for your child to receive the best possible educational experience, the child, parent(s) and school must all be pulling in the same direction.  We look forward to working with you in this capacity in order to make your child's time at Annville Elementary a strong foundation to build upon for the future!

Have a wonderful school year!
