Welcome to Cleona Elementary School’s counseling webpage! The mission of the school counseling program at Cleona is to establish positive relationships with all students and families that foster resiliency and promote responsible decision-making. Through classroom lessons, solution-focused counseling, and collaboration with stakeholders, students will develop mindsets and behaviors that enable them to become responsible citizens.
Hi, my name is Beth Shaughnessy and it is my privilege to be the school counselor at Cleona Elementary School. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree in counseling & human relations from Villanova University. I have been a school counselor in Lebanon County since 2006.
I am excited to be at Cleona Elementary because I love working with our youngest learners! It is a great opportunity to teach core values like being respectful, responsible, and ready to learn. I hope to achieve this by teaching monthly classroom lessons, meeting with students individually and in small groups, and collaborating with staff and families.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me at any time! My contact information is below.
