A Message from Mrs. Love

Welcome to Cleona Elementary School!

I have been the principal at Cleona Elementary for the last six years.  Before that, I was the principal of a private school for three years.  I started my educational career as a middle school teacher in Northern York County.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from West Chester University and both a Master of Education in Teaching and Curriculum and Principal Certification from Penn State University.

Cleona Elementary is home to students from both Annville Township and the Borough of Cleona.  There are over 300 students in kindergarten through second grade.  We offer a half-day kindergarten program, as well as two classes of extended-day kindergarten (full day), for our youngest students needing additional support.  At the K-2 level, we pride ourselves on providing a caring and nurturing atmosphere, along with hands-on experiences, where students can thrive as they learn the foundational skills that are necessary for them throughout their educational journey.  One of the most important indicators of a student's success is parental support.  Our teachers and staff communicate frequently with parents about their child(ren)’s progress.  There are also numerous opportunities for parents to become involved with their child(ren)’s education by volunteering in classrooms or joining the PTO.

Cleona Elementary is a great place to learn and work, and we welcome you to the Cleona family!
