Counseling Services - Elementary

Welcome to the Elementary School Counseling Page!

We are so happy to be your elementary child's school counselors.  We are here to support your child's academic, career and social/emotional development.  We provide short-term individual counseling, small group counseling, and classroom lessons.  We also work closely with families, teachers and community agencies to coordinate services outside of school when needed.  If you believe your child would benefit from the services of the school counselor, we would love to hear from you!

Lindsey Longo

Meet Annville Elementary's School Counselor!

Hello!  My name is Mrs. Lindsey Longo.  I am the school counselor at Annville Elementary School.

After obtaining a Master’s degree from Shippensburg University, I’ve been a school counselor for the past 10 years, this year begins my 5th year at Annville Elementary School.  My work experience enables me to be a true resource to you and your child.

This year at Annville Elementary School, I plan to teach developmental guidance lessons, support students academically, behaviorally, as well as socially and emotionally.  I will meet with students individually and in small groups, as well as collaborate with teachers, administration, families, and stakeholders to ensure that we are creating a positive, safe, and effective learning community for our students.

I am looking forward to beginning the 2020-2021 school year.  Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns; I truly welcome the opportunity to work with you and your child!

Sincerely,

Lindsey Longo, M. Ed

Cleona Elementary - Counselor

Welcome to Cleona Elementary School’s counseling webpage! The mission of the school counseling program at Cleona is to establish positive relationships with all students and families that foster resiliency and promote responsible decision-making. Through classroom lessons, solution-focused counseling, and collaboration with stakeholders, students will develop mindsets and behaviors that enable them to become responsible citizens.

Hi, my name is Beth Shaughnessy and it is my privilege to be the school counselor at Cleona Elementary School. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree in counseling & human relations from Villanova University. I have been a school counselor in Lebanon County since 2006.

I am excited to be at Cleona Elementary because I love working with our youngest learners! It is a great opportunity to teach core values like being respectful, responsible, and ready to learn. I hope to achieve this by teaching monthly classroom lessons, meeting with students individually and in small groups, and collaborating with staff and families.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me at any time! My contact information is below.
