Huge thank you to Ms. Tanya Deihl for keeping us healthy, taped up, and ready to compete every single day. We couldn’t do what we do without you!

Behind every successful student is a support system that cares. Today we’re celebrating our ACSD School Social Workers! From mental health support to connecting families with resources, you make our community stronger. We appreciate you!

Students in Mr. Cuthie's class are using the Engineering Design Process to design and construct a shed. In step one of the process, students met with the customer and gathered information about the customer's needs, requirements, and constraints. Next, students conducted research to determine if any current designs exist that can solve the problem. Next, students brainstormed three potential solutions to the problem. Students then selected one solution they felt best met the customer's needs, requirements, and constraints. On February 25, students presented their shed design solution with sketched elevation drawings, floor plans, and a material estimate to Mr. Gingrich. In the coming weeks, students will build the selected shed design.
