Since the beginning of January, CE students have been enjoying lunch at joined tables. It was such a big hit in December for the PBIS class winners, we decided to implement for all the students that eat lunch here.


At CE the holidays may be over but the creative crafting has not stopped. It is great to walk through the building and see the seasonal pieces.









There are some schedule changes for tonight's Girls Basketball games at A-C. Please see the attached flyer for the new game times.

This month we've been talking about all things illustrators. In first grade we read the books, "This is not my hat" and "I want my hat back" by Jon Klassen. We then used some of his artwork to tell our own stories.

We hope you are having a wonderful holiday season. Reminder that school is back in session on Wednesday, January 3.


Our students are heading to holiday break on wonderfully positive note. This week was filled with fun and memorable activities. Thank you to the Cleona Elementary staff for making this week special for our students. A big thank to the families and community members that went out of their way to make the staff feel special as well! I want to wish everyone a healthy and happy break.

Our guest reader was a true delight! He kept our students wonderfully entertained.

After reading, How to Catch a Gingerbread Man, 1st graders practiced coding by drawing a path and putting in directions for a gingerbread man to follow.
